Curriculum Vitae

I'm a PosDoc researcher at KU Leuven in Belgium, working together with Prof. Tinne Tuytelaars on representation learning (2023-) and with Prof. Luc De Raedt on neuro-symbolic learning (2020-2023). Previously, I was a research scientist at Huawei in London working on deep generative models and representation learning. I was a member of the MMLAB group advised by Prof. Francesco G.B. De Natale at University of Trento, where I obtained the PhD degree. In 2015/2016, I visited Nanjing University and worked on positive-unlabeled learning with Prof. Zhi-Hua Zhou.

I like sports, especially skiing. From 2007, I've been the coach of different local racing ski teams and hold several ski instructor courses. In 2011, I've obtained the diploma of ski master instructor, namely the highest professional degree in alpine skiing. Before that, I've participated as an athlete to many international competitions (see here for a sample of records).
